I was born in Los Angeles, California.
It is almost always sunny throughout the year, here in LA. In my opinion, I think that’s why people on the west coast are much friendlier than the people on the East coast.
I love LA because you can surf all year round and you can also drive a couple hours to snowboard in the winter.
It’s close to many amusement parks and we have the best beaches in all of California.
So I think the place that I was born, Los Angeles, is an awesome place to be.
I live in a city called Irvine.
Believe it or not, Irvine has been announced one of the safest cities in all of America.
It’s a suburb so there’s not a whole lot to do in this tiny city, but there are a lot of delicious restaurants!
Especially because it is so diverse here in culture, you can enjoy many different types of cuisine.
It’s also pretty close to the Angels Stadium, so if you want to go watch Ohtani play, definitely book your stay here in Irvine!
The person I admire the most is my Mom.
She was born and raised in Japan and was working as a flight attendant traveling around the world.
She then had to move to the states for my dad’s work purposes. Despite moving to a country where she doesn’t speak the language fluently and understand the culture fully, she raised 2 children and was an amazing role model to me and my younger brother.
She Is so selfless and loving and I hope to one day become just like her.
My favorite hobby is sewing.
I haven’t been able to do it much recently but I took a fashion design class in college and ever since fell in love with up-cycling clothes.
Some things that I have up-cycled so far are turning leggings into a tube top or cargo pants into a skirt.
It’s always a nice feeling to be able to give my clothing items a new life just by adding a few tweaks because it means a lot to me to be able to wear them for a long time rather than just donating them.
I grew up in a family of four; my mom, dad, younger brother and me.
My dad works at a bank and he loves to play golf whenever he has time.
My mom used to be a flight attendant and now she does a part-time job to keep herself busy now that her kids are adults.
My younger brother is a senior in college. He studies kinesiology and wants to become a sports trainer. He loves skateboarding too.
And last but not least, I am a freelance production assistant, content creator, and aspiring actress.
I think a skill that I am good at is communication.
I feel that I am able to connect with any kind of person.
Whether it be someone that is very talkative or someone that is more of an introvert, I can change the way I approach people depending on their personality to make sure the other person feels comfortable.
It can get a bit tiring for me because I am constantly worried about how I’m making them feel over mine, but I often find a lot of people appreciate it.
I don’t like reading but my favorite book so far has been “The Little Prince”. I read it when I was in elementary school and didn’t think much of it. However, I saw on TV someone talking about the hidden messages in the book and decided to read it again. To my surprise, the book that once just seemed like a book about a traveling prince had so many lessons that I could relate to about the “adult” world. I would definitely recommend the book to someone living life in a rush.
Here’s a look into my daily routine. First thing I do after waking up is to wash my face and put my contacts in. If my mom didn’t already, I walk the dog, eat breakfast and start my day with a nice stretch. I take a shower and once I get some breakfast in my system, I get to work. If I don’t have a production assistant or acting gig, I usually work from home editing videos and filming content. I end my day by walking my dog, eating dinner, and calling my long distance boyfriend.
My dream career is to make a stable income through my content creation and travel around the world. Growing up, I always thought we all had to settle for a 9 to 5 job and be employed in a company. But with social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok becoming a place where people can make money, I was attracted to the new definition of having a “job”. I hope that I can continue to grow my platforms to achieve my dream career of making money off of being myself.
My favorite dish is Chawan-mushi. It may be more of a side dish but I love chawan-mushi because of how delicate it is and how warm it makes you when you have the first scoop. My favorite part though of eating the dish has to be finding the gingko nut. The bitter taste of the gingko gives contrast to the sweetness of the dish. Because it is so rare to find a chawan-mushi with your meal, especially in America, it continues to be my favorite dish for many years.
When I was younger, I wrote in my 6th grade graduation album that I wanted to become the bridge between Japan and America. I wasn’t sure “how” at the time but recently as I translate for Japanese production teams as well as connect with both Japanese and American viewers through my social media platforms, I have come to realize that in a sense I have become a bridge between Japan and America. So I would say my greatest success is making my 6th grade self’s dream come true.
Something that I want to accomplish is to learn the ways of acting. Ever since I was young, I had always wanted to explore acting but never got the chance to. For a long time, I thought it was too late, but when my TikTok started to grow and my dream that I had given up on becoming an influencer became more plausible, I realized that nothing is ever too late; it’s just timing. As acting was something that had always been at the back of my mind, I really hope to accomplish learning the skills for it.
As annoying as it may sound, I believe that I have never failed at anything. I have only had “failures” so to speak, because those were situations where things that I did not know prior happened. Therefore those “failures” to me are lessons. They taught me something, so that I don’t repeat the same mistakes again. For example, I made a mistake at work, I identify the cause of my mistake, take responsibility for it, and make sure it doesn’t happen again. I think it’s all about the perspective and how you perceive the situation.
Wherever I travel, I collect “You are here” mugs from Starbucks. I never intended to do this, but because on every trip I somehow always ended up at Starbucks and wanted to take home a souvenir that wouldn’t just sit on my shelf, I saw the “You Are Here” mugs and thought they were perfect. I bought them 2 or 3 times and then eventually, if I didn’t, the trip felt incomplete. So I guess you could now say that I am a “you are here” mug collector.

(What You Love the Most)

I love my friends and family the most. They are my biggest supports and the most honest critiques. Especially as a freelancer who doesn’t have a set boss or coworkers, it can feel very lonely sometimes as I have to be able to notice where I can grow more and also reassure myself that I’m doing great. So I feel very grateful to have friends and family that will be proud of my work but at the same time not hesitate to keep me in check.
The last movie I watched was the Barbie movie. I won’t spoil it for you but it was about women empowerment and the girlhood between mother and daughter. I watched it with my mom and the English was pretty difficult so while I was crying because the story was so touching, my mom was sitting there so confused which was a little funny. I can’t wait for it to be released with Japanese subtitles so I can watch it again with her.
My favorite season is summer. I absolutely despise being cold. So honestly, any season other than winter, I love. But, I especially love the summer because I love to go to the beach or pool, get a nice tan, and then swim in the water. Not only going to the beach, but the warm weather allows for so many outdoor activities too! I also feel like everyone is so much happier in the summer than when it’s cold and dark during the winter. So that is why summer is my favorite season.
Day18:あなたが挑戦した最も困難な事(The Most Difficult Thing You've Ever Done)

The most difficult thing I’ve ever done was being the head organizer for a cooking battle in college. The event was put together in order to raise awareness on food waste. It involved gathering 4 students each from 16 different colleges as participants, a handful of volunteers to run the event itself, and 4-6 judges for each date of the competition. As a college student that was juggling other school work and extracurriculars and with no real life work experience, the event would’ve been a complete mess if it weren’t for my team members.
My most memorable birthday is when my friends threw a surprise party for me. I had just gotten done with a busy week of work and my friend who I had not seen in a while invited me out for dinner. When I met up with her, she took me to a restaurant where all of my friends were waiting to surprise me! I honestly had never been surprised in my life until then, so it made me feel so happy and special. Especially because it was my first birthday in Japan, away from family, they made me feel extra loved.
Day20:あなたが最も感謝していること(What You Are Most Grateful For)

I am most grateful to be alive. Life can get hard, but if I weren’t alive, I wouldn’t get to feel the hardships of it and then how rewarding it is when your hard work pays off. I wouldn’t get to experience the beauty of love especially because of the existence of people that, in a sense, make life hard for you. I wouldn’t be able to find out what could be in it for me tomorrow and the days after that. So I am most grateful for life and being able to wake up everyday to live another day.
The first pet I’ve ever owned was a hamster. Ever since I was a child, I had always wanted a dog, but my parents never allowed me to own one so when my mom finally caved and decided we can get a hamster, it was a time to be alive. We named our first one Toko-chan. Hamsters only live up to 1-2 years though, so every time one died we got another for the next 4-6 years until we finally got a Shiba Inu puppy named Puff last year.
Day22:あなたの一番の自己改善ポイント(Your Top Self-Improvement Goal)

My top self-improvement goal Is to workout in the morning at least 3 times a week. Last year in December, I had plans to run the Honolulu marathon, so throughout the year of 2022, I woke up early, worked out and even ran a couple miles almost everyday. However, this year, I have been slacking off a bit and have struggled to wake up in the morning let alone go to the gym to workout, so by the end of this year I hope to workout more routinely to help with my physical and mental health and improve with my overall productivity.
Day23:あなたの最も楽しいイベント体験(Your Most Fun Event Experience)

The most fun experience I’ve had at an event is my college dance team’s annual show. Every year the juniors on the dance team plan the spring dance show. The juniors hold meetings to figure out the storyline and selected juniors will choreograph the pieces. We practice for hours on end but I love being able to perform on stage so it was all worth it. On top of that, I choreographed the finale piece where I got to work with all the members on the dance team from every grade, so it made the experience extra special for me.
I like a lot of alternative pop and K-pop music but I think my favorite music genre would have to be R&B. I love that it isn’t too upbeat that you can’t listen to it when you’re feeling sad, but it’s also not too slow that it’ll make you sad when you’re listening to it happy. Some R&B artists I especially like are Kali Uchis, Doja Cat, and SZA. But I most definitely could go on and on about K-pop especially because I’ve liked it since I was in middle school, but we won’t get into that for your own sake.
Day25:あなたが最も印象に残った場所(The Most Memorable Place You've Been To)

The most memorable place I’ve been to is Sedona National Park. When I was younger, my family and I used to drive out to a national park every summer. We’ve been to the Grand Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Arches National Park, and etc. But out of all the parks we’ve been to, my favorite one was Sedona because of how vast it was and the energy I felt while being there. It made me feel so small that northing in the world mattered. I definitely would recommend putting Sedona National Park on your bucket list.
As someone who has been dancing since they were 4 years old, my favorite sport has to be dance. Although there is a lot of controversy around whether it is a sport or not, I would say it is just as much a sport as it is an art form. It requires loads of training, team work, and collaboration with the choreographer, which is why I don’t understand why some may say it isn’t a sport. Either way, I love dance because it’s what has kept me healthy, connects me with so many people, and allows me to have a physical connection with music.
I dislike the most when people “hate”. It is often said how words hold a lot of power and to me, “hate” is a very strong word. Something that one person hates, could be something that someone else loves. So I feel that it can be a vulgar and hurtful word to describe something. Therefore, I try to avoid using the word “hate” and instead try to use phrases like “I don’t like”, “I avoid”, or “I stay away from” to sound less harsh.
Day28:あなたの最も楽しかった旅行体験(Your Most Enjoyable Travel Experience)

My most enjoyable travel experience is when I get to solo travel. As much as it is a lot of fun to travel with friends and family, to me getting to travel at my own pace and stepping out of my comfort zone is just as much, if not more enjoyable. It is most definitely nerve wracking to navigate yourself in a place you are not familiar with on your own, but I live for the thrill of it. It’s so liberating when I notice how much I was conscious of who’s looking at me but half way through I don’t care anymore and I am fully enjoying my environment.
My ideal holiday is being able to spend it either by myself or with the people I love, ideally in a warm place. To me a holiday is when I don’t have to worry about any of my responsibilities and can just relax without having to think. The image that pops into my mind when I think about that is me laying by the beach, getting a nice tan, and sleeping until I can’t any more. So as long as I can do that, the specific place doesn’t matter to me.
A short term goal that I have is to become a UGC creator. UGC stands for User Generated Content. As a content creator that is still growing and an aspiring actress, I want to make money but want to use my skills to make money, so making money by creating content the promotes products would help me improve my content making skills at the same time that it supports me financially. Therefore, my immediate goal is to use my skills to become a UGC creator based in LA.
